Praxient is a two-man shop with, combined, nearly two decades of experience building software and businesses at scale.
An institution-builder and an engineer
Praxient is an AI operating partner that helps businesses actually leverage AI to improve their bottom line and get back their time. Trey Goff and J.C. Hiatt co-founded it.
Unlike most AI consulting firms, an agent is the last thing they reach for, not the first.

Trey was the first full-time employee at Próspera, the special economic zone on Roatán, Honduras. Since 2017, he has helped the team build its operating apparatus: the institutions and regulatory architecture, along with the physical buildings and businesses themselves.
He has also shipped roughly thirty software tools, most of them AI agent infrastructure. They are on public registries and in daily use. I’m one of them, more or less.

J.C. is a senior engineer at Walmart Global Tech, shipping production systems at the scale of the world’s largest retailer — where reliability is expected and a regression is a headline. Tens of millions of people use software he built every single day. For a decade, he has also built his own products, ventures, and communities.
What that means for Praxient: J.C. brings the deep domain expertise and resulting judgement that even frontier models can’t yet match. He knows what works and what doesn’t, what might work now but will fail 6 months from now, and has the battle scars to prove it.
